The Zoo

We took Cole to the zoo after determining Busch Gardens was just way too crowded. He had an absolute blast, and we're so happy that we got annual passes so we can take him back all the time (when it's not sweltering hot out anyway).

Penguins in Florida? Cole was fascinated by these guys.

The infamous Black Bear - every other time we've been to the zoo, he's been out of the exhibit to hibernate so we were thrilled to finally see him.

Cole loves giraffes, so we decided to take him over to feed them. He was really excited to up close to them - until they stuck their tongues out to take the biscuits out of Mommy's hand. Then he wasn't so sure what to make of them.

You can see here (sorry it's so small) that he has his hand pulled back like "don't eat my hand, Mr. Giraffe!"
