Today was definitely a day of firsts for Cole. We stuck around pretty close to home, and first off took Cole to fish for rainbow trout. He's been wanting to go fishing for a while and this was a perfect opportunity since they were fully stocked ponds.

Then we headed down into Maggie Valley and took Cole gem mining. It's pretty much a little boy's dream - dirt, water, mud and rocks. He found some cool gems though he didn't really care - they were all just neat rocks to him.
Finally after dinner we headed back to Maggie Valley for another new adventure - mini golf. Cole had an absolute blast.
